Science: Force and Motion
Scientists had to work together to determine how to divert a falling boulder so it would not destroy "Tiny Town" and would end up in the bulldozer's bucket!
Science: We worked with our buddies from Mrs. Whipple's fourth grade class to find the answer to our GUIDING QUESTION: How can we make sure a car gets back to the garage safely?
TASK: Using only cardboard tubes and masking tape, create a route for your car (on wall) that will lead it safely back to the garage. Scientists made predictions and tested hypotheses to discover many creative ways to accomplish this task. They explained and recorded their findings.

We are very fortunate to have our very own plant expert in our friend's mother who is the co-owner of Green Spark Farm in Cape Elizabeth. She taught us about some different flowers and how to plant them and the best way to help them grow. We got our very own pots and were able to fill them with soil, select our flower seeds and add water.
We filled our pots with soil.
We planted our seeds.
We watered our seeds.
We gave our seeds some light and warmth with a heat mat and grow lights. We will take good care of them so hopefully they will blossom into beautiful flowers!
